League Information


Tee Ball: Age 5 - 6  Co-ed

Eligibility: Participants must be age 5 before June 1 of the current season. No exceptions.
Game Schedule: Tee ball will have Monday & Thursday evening practices/games for one hour 2 times a week. Practice/game times will be 5:00 - 6:00, 6:00 - 7:00, or 7:00 - 8:00 (times will vary from week to week) All practices/games will be held at First Federated Church located at the corner of War Memorial & Sheridan. The league is very instructional in nature. Games will be played but no score will be kept.
Evaluations: Tee Ball participants are not evaluated.

Girls’ Fast Pitch Softball

All Star: Age 7 - 9

Game Schedule: Thursday evenings from 5:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturday mornings between 10:45am - 11:45am (2 games per week ). The coach pitches to the players:
very instructional in nature. All games are held at The Christian Center.
Evaluations: All Star players are evaluated if the participant did not play in The Christian Center ball program the previous year OR they participated in The Christian Center Tee Ball program the previous year. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

MVP: Age 10 - 12

Game Schedule: Tuesday evenings from 5:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturdays between
10:45am - 2:00pm (Game times will vary / 2 games per week ).
The girls pitch to each other. Games are held at Mark Bills Grade School on Tuesday evenings - Friday/Saturday games are held at The Christian Center.
Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

Hall Of Fame: Age 13 - 18

Game Schedule: Monday and/or Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday evenings from 6:15 - dark. The girls average 2 games per week against other Peoria area teams. Approx. 1/2 of the games will be held away from The Christian Center. The games are played by high school rules.
Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

Boys’ Baseball


Rookie: Age 7 - 8

Game Schedule: Monday evenings from 5:00pm - 6:00pm, and / or Friday evenings from 5:00pm - 6:00pm, and / or Saturday morning at 8:15am or 9:30am for 1 hour. The boys average 2 games per week. The coach pitches to the players: instructional in nature. All games are played at The Christian Center.
Evaluations: Rookie players are evaluated if the participant did not play in The Christian Center ball program the previous year OR they participated in The Christian Center Tee Ball program the previous year. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

Minor: Age 9 - 10

Game Schedule: Monday evenings at 6:15pm - dark, and or Thursday evenings at 6:15pm - dark, and / or Saturday afternoons/evenings. The boys average 2 games per week. The players pitch to each other. All games are played at The Christian Center.
Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program must attend an evaluation. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

Major: Age 11 - 12

Game Schedule: Tuesdays at 6:15pm - dark, and or Friday evenings 6:15pm - dark, and or Saturday afternoons/evenings. The boys average 2 games per week. All games are played at The Christian Center.
Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

Pony: Age 13 - 15 

Game Schedule: Each team will play once during the week either Tuesday or Thursday and once on Saturday as a general rule. Games start at 6:00pm during the week and 9:00am or 11:00am on Saturdays. All games are played at Mark Bills Grade School.
Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

Colt / Prep: Age 16 - 18

Game Schedule: Each team will play approximately 2 games per week. Last year the teams played approximately 16 games against teams from other cities around the area. Games will be held at Peoria Park District fields and other locations around the Peoria area. Good Competition.
Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive a postcard with the date and time of your evaluation.

Registration

Registration Kicks Off:

After January 14 you may register Monday - Friday from
8:00am - 4:30pm at The Christian Center.
You may also mail your form in to the following address:

Register early...once a league fills you will be put on a waiting list.
How the waiting list works.
No registrations will be taken by phone.
Cost: $65
Family Discount: First player $65
Second player $60
Additional players $50
*On February 21 fees increase to $75 for first, $70 for second and
$60 for additional players

Season: May–July
*Players may be placed in more advanced leagues upon an evaluation.

Teammate Requests:
• A parent may request 1 friend to play on their son or daughter’s team. That friend must also request your child.
Teammate requests are not guaranteed.
• Any effort to place several friends on a team will not be honored and may lead to none of the friends being on the same team.
• If your child remains in the same league, he/she is not guaranteed to be on the same team as they were last season.
• Siblings in the same league will be placed on the same team. Make sure to write on the top of the registration form that siblings are in the same league.

All teammate requests will be considered by the Athletic Director in the best interests of the program.
