Spring Indoor Soccer 2024

Welcome to Christian Center Spring Indoor Soccer

The program is very instructional in nature and each player will learn basic soccer skills.

Shorter fields and reduced-size teams allow for every player to touch the ball and be an active participant.

Two of our major goals are for your child to have fun and to hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Your child will also be challenged to learn Bible verses each week.

The season will run March – April. One practice / game will be held each week. All practices / games will be played at the Louisville Sports Complex 8400 N Orange Prairie Rd – Peoria.

If you do not receive email confirmation once you have completed the registration form, please contact The Christian Center office at 309-685-4218 to confirm your registration status.

2024 Season Information

Registration for the 2024 Season Kicks-off Monday, January 8, 2024. You may also register in person at The Christian Center
Mon. – Fri. 8:00am – 4:30pm
starting January 8

Cost:

Until January 31

First Player – $80
Second Player – $75
Third Player – $70

After January 31

First Player – $85
Second Player – $80
Third Player – $75

Participants must be in the same family to receive discount.
Partial scholarships applications are available in person at The Christian Center.
If a player drops from the league a $10 fee will be deducted from your refund.

Season starts March 4th and runs through April 23rd 2024

Louisville Slugger Sports Complex Rules

No Wagons or Carts in the Complex or Dome
No Coolers
No Sunflower Seeds or Gum
No Outside Food or Drink
No Smoking or Tobacco Products
No Metal Cleats allowed on any field in the Facility
No Pets Allowed inside the gates (Service animals MUST be marked)
Emotional support animals are not permitted – Please make prior arrangements before arriving at the Complex
No drinks other than water on indoor turf
No Firearms permitted on the premises

Please do not litter. Place all wrappers and water bottles in the trash cans provided.

Eligibility: A player must be 5 by May 1st, 2024

Game Schedule: This league will play on Monday evenings from 5:30 – 6:30pm. All practices / games are played at the Louisville Sports Complex 8400 N Orange Prairie Rd. Peoria, IL

Evaluations: This league is not evaluated.

2nd & 3rd Grade Co-ed

Evaluations: Players who did not play in The Christian Center 2023 Spring or Fall Soccer season are required to attend a skills evaluation. Evaluations are scheduled for late February 2024. You will receive an email finalizing the date, time and location of your evaluation.

2nd & 3rd Grade Co-ed (Tuesday Night)

What it means to be a Coach or an Assistant Coach

Head Coach – The Head Coach is the person who sets the spiritual & athletic tone for the team. The Coach is the direct liaison between the Christian Center Athletic Director & the families/players on the team. He/she runs the practices, leads the team during games, sets up a line of communication with the families. The Head Coach is our MVP (most valuable person) each season.

Assistant Coach – The Assistant Coach helps the Head Coach in all the duties that make for a successful season. Many times during a season the Assistant Coach will lead the team in the absence of the Head Coach. Though the responsibilities are not as great as the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach is key to the season running smoothly for their team/families.
