League Information

Little Sluggers:

Age 5-6 Co-Ed

– Participants must be age 5 before June 1 and not attain age 7 on or before April 30

Game Schedule: Little Sluggers will have Monday & Thursday evening practices/games for one hour 2 times a week. Practice/game times will be 5:00 – 6:00, 6:00 – 7:00, or 7:00 – 8:00 (times will vary from week to week) In an effort to give the participants more diamond-time, games and practices will be held at First Federated Church located at the corner of War Memorial & Sheridan, as well as Washington Gifted and The Christian Center diamonds. The league is very instructional in nature. Games will be played but no score will be kept.

Evaluations: Little Sluggers participants are not evaluated.

Boys' Baseball

Rookie: Age 7-8 *Boys age 7 on or before April 30

Game Schedule: Monday evenings from 5:00pm – 6:00pm, and / or Friday evenings from 5:00pm – 6:00pm, and / or Saturday morning at 8:15am or 9:30am for 1 hour. The boys average 2 games per week. The coach pitches to the players: instructional in nature. The majority of games will be held at The Christian Center with a few games to be played at the Louisville Sports Complex in Peoria.

Evaluations: Rookie players are evaluated if the participant did not play in The Christian Center ball program the previous year OR they participated in The Christian Center Little Sluggers program the previous year. You will receive an email with the date and time of your evaluation.

Minor: Age 9-10 *Boys age 9 on or before April 30

Game Schedule: Monday evenings at 6:15pm – dark, and or Thursday evenings at 6:15pm – dark, and / or Saturday afternoons/evenings. The boys average 2 games per week. The players pitch to each other. The majority of games will be held at The Christian Center with a few games to be played at the Louisville Sports Complex in Peoria.

Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program must attend an evaluation. You will receive an email with the date and time of your evaluation.

Major: Age 11-12 *Boys age 11 on or before April 30

Game Schedule: Tuesdays at 6:15pm – dark, and or Friday evenings 6:15pm – dark, and or Saturday afternoons/evenings. The boys average 2 games per week. The majority of games will be held at The Christian Center with a few games to be played at the Louisville Sports Complex in Peoria.

Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive an email with the date and time of your evaluation.

Pony: Age 13-15 *Boys age 13 on or before April 30 and who will not attain age 16 on or before April 30

Game Schedule: Each team will play once during the week either Tuesday or Thursday and once on Saturday as a general rule. Games start at 6:00pm during the week and 9:00am or 11:00am on Saturdays. Games will be played at Northminster Presbyterian Church and Washington Gifted School.

Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive an email with the date and time of your evaluation.

Colt/Prep: Age 16-18 Boys who are age 16 on or before April 30 and who will not attain age 19 before June 1 Players must be in High School or have just graduated from High School.

Game Schedule: Each team will play approximately 2 games per week. Last year the teams played approximately 16 games against teams from other cities around the area. Games will be held at Peoria Park District fields and other locations around the Peoria area. Good Competition

Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive an email with the date and time of your evaluation.

Girls' Fast Pitch Softball

All Star: Age 7-9 *Girls age 7 on or before April 30

Game Schedule: Thursday evenings from 5:00pm – 6:00pm and Saturday mornings between 10:45am – 11:45am (2 games per week ). The coach pitches to the players: very instructional in nature. The majority of games will be held at The Christian Center with a few games to be played at the Louisville Sports Complex in Peoria.

Evaluations: All Star players are evaluated if the participant did not play in The Christian Center ball program the previous year OR they participated in The Christian Center Little Sluggers

program the previous year. You will receive an email with the date and time of your evaluation.

MVP: Age 10-12 *Girls age 7 on or before April 30

Game Schedule: Tuesday evenings from 5:00pm – 6:00pm and Saturday between 10:45am – 2:00pm (Game times will very / 2 games per week ). The girls pitch to each other: very instructional in nature. The majority of games will be held at The Christian Center with a few games to be played at the Louisville Sports Complex in Peoria.

Evaluations: All participants that did not play in The Christian Center Ball Program last summer must attend an evaluation. You will receive an email with the date and time of your evaluation.

Hall Of Fame: Age 13-18

Girls age 13 on or before April 30 and who will not attain age 18 before January 1, 2019. *All 13 year-old softball players will be evaluated to determine which league will be the best fit.

Each team will play approximately 2 games per week. Last year the teams played approximately 16 games against teams from cities around the area. Good competition. games will be held at Peoria park District fields and other locations around the Peoria area.

Registration for the 2019 Baseball / Softball Season will Kickoff Saturday, January 26, 2019 10:00am – noon @ The Christian Center. Online registration will open on January 26 as well.

Cost until February 18:

First player – $70
Second player – $65
Third or more player – $60

Cost after February 18:

First player – $80
Second player – $75
Third or more player – $70
